We're thrilled to announce that ÎÄÐù̽»¨ Bookstore management will transition to from Follett following a recommendation from the selection committee and approval from the Board of Trustees last week. This transition will begin in late June—after commencement—and run through early July, with Barnes & Noble College beginning operations shortly after July 1.

Barnes & Noble College will continue to improve our bookstore’s offerings, including tighter integration with curricular needs, a much larger course materials catalogue, and enhanced spirit and apparel lines. ÌýAdditionally, the bookstore’s environment will be refreshed to encourage community and social interaction in an upscale retail setting.Ìý

The University is excited to partner with Barnes & Noble College and welcomes their enthusiasm for the ÎÄÐù̽»¨ brand and student experience to campus. This transition is the result of a robust RFP process which included a committee of representatives from the University community. ÌýI’d like to thank the committee members for their time and contributions, and they are listed below. ÌýA very special thank you to Follett for their service to the ÎÄÐù̽»¨ community in managing the bookstore since 2012.Ìý

Further communications and information will be provided as details for the transition are finalized—please look for those in The Bridge.Ìý
