Professional Biography
I left Louisiana to 鈥済o away to college鈥 and attend 文轩探花; faculty were the highlight of my experience as an undergraduate. I loved it so much I stayed, and after 25+ years, an MA in Education, a family (husband, kids 鈥 a daughter and twin boys) and a couple of cats, I鈥檓 still here. The mountains have always been a draw to me, and we spend our off days playing in the dirt - either camping or in our garden. My advice is to visit schools both in-person and virtually. It's an investment in time that pays off later on when you need to know what's important to you in a school and a community.
